The Virgo Full Moon gives us an opportunity to watch what happens within our everyday life and see what emotions fill our days, what energies we bring to our days.
It is a truth that we can achieve much within our everyday life, but first we must understand what energies we value, what emotions we allow to be there each day... as we spend many moments doing the same things day after day, year after year... and as most of us come from mind's way, we can believe in the mundaneness of our everyday ways. This leaves us feeling flat, especially towards our everyday chores - cleaning our teeth, organising a meal, getting to a destination. Consider what emotions follow you, as most of us don't question our emotions towards our daily grind, and that allows us to carry our habits forward into our future and repeat the same emotional behaviours each day. If there are any emotions that leave you flat or bored, create change around them in the moment you see them, so you may live your everyday life from a vibration that you wish for yourself. As most of us live from mind's way, we will experience mind's energy trying to protect us. It can have its challenges when so much time is spent in daily routines as it creates so many places for things to go wrong, or where we can be seen as 'not enough'. To protect ourselves and get life right and running how we want it, we easily move into the role of the perfectionist as there's not many emotions held within being perfect. The perfectionist energy is practical and doesn't mind living with rules and regulations (as long as we get the results we are looking for)... and the perfectionist within us doesn't mind putting up with the boredom of living our life this way, especially when we rely on our will and determination to strengthen the perfectionist of who we are. For most of us, we value being seen as 'good' and getting life 'right' in our everyday life at the cost of how we actually wish our everyday life to be... it is an easy sacrifice to make, especially when this is what we have clung to in all other lifetimes. When we have followed the same behaviours in other lifetimes, we don't even question ourselves, we just hit the repeat button and do the same this lifetime. Soul's language understands that everything is a reflection within our life. If we live wanting ourselves to be perfect, then it is most likely that we want others to do the same for us. We secretly demand our friends to be perfect towards us, behaving how we want them to be, then feeling the pain when they don't. This doesn't just affect our friends, our secret demands flows into wanting all others within our life to do the same: family members, partners, work colleagues, even strangers. We can hear our need for others to be perfect towards us within our judgements, or our complaining towards them. We notice our complaints arrive within our thoughts, whether they are thoughts that we keep to ourselves or thoughts that are shared, and these thoughts can lead to many moments of sadness within our everyday life. When we live life by being the perfectionist at some vibration, by being 'good' and wanting to be right all the time, we block ourselves from growing and evolving. If we learn to watch ourselves, we can see our actions when moments arrive when we are wrong, or moments where we or others believe us as being 'bad'. In these moments, most of our energy moves to feelings of shame or horror and we can stay with our stagnated energies, or we can choose to move into acceptance and learn about it by solving our situation from a higher vibration. To understand perfection from the soul's language is to understand that whatever energies surround us, wherever we are, it is perfection right there for us in that moment. The situations and events that arrive are there for us to see what is truly happening in our everyday and to help us understand ourselves. This allows us to do differently, to create change. When we create change, it allows us to move to a higher vibration of ourselves where we become closer to achieving our life's wishes. Be the watcher of your actions towards yourself and towards others within this Full Moon in Virgo, as the emotions and habits that we choose each day can block ourselves from seeing the beauty of everyday life and what each day can bring us. Everyday is where we discover our creativity... all that we are able to invent in the future will be invented in your everyday life... your gifts and talents show up in your everyday life... you learn to create change every day which flows into your growth. Once we have done differently, we can release our old habits come the Full Moon. I wish you well as you follow the Virgo Full Moon cycle and create the changes that you wish for yourself, as you watch yourself become self-sufficient in allowing your everyday flow to become brighter and more eventful.

As the Aquarius New Moon starts to move away, I'd like to share the cards that have shown up within readings around this moon. I've noticed over the years that certain cards appear as each moon arrives. My Subconscious Whispers card deck consists of 352 cards, which is a lot of cards, and still, the same cards arrive in different readings... it amazes me how some cards don't appear often, then within a certain moon they appear regularly. As the name suggests, my Subconscious Whispers cards assist in showing my clients what is within their subconscious, what they have stored there. The Aquarius New Moon allowed us to explore how we are influenced by our desire to be special within the world. Here are the top three subconscious themes revealed by the cards... Unaware

When we don't look at our emotions attached to our specialness, when we can't acknowledge what is happening in our lives around our specialness, the result is that we keep demanding and controlling around our specialness. So we spend our life protecting our specialness, which leaves no space for actually being in charge of our own specialness, and this blocks our healing towards it. As we leave Aquarius Moon, we can feel grateful for what we learnt about our specialness within our world, and know that the changes we have made towards our specialness will assist us in greeting Virgo’s Full Moon with added confidence and lightness.
As we explore and look at the lessons within our everyday life, especially around our habits and behaviours connected to the perfectionist within us, (as we all carry it at some vibration), as we make the changes, we are able to let go of our old habits come the Full Moon... as the Full Moon is a time to release, a time to let go. I wish you well on your journey. Within this New Moon of Aquarius, we get to explore how we are influenced by our desire to be special within the world.
When we hear the word 'specialness' and we come from mind's way, our first reaction is to dismiss it as being unimportant, or as something that doesn't challenge our life or influence our life flow. Within the work that I do, I have found that specialness is inside all of us at some vibration. We wish to be seen as special within certain parts of our everyday life: special within our family, special within our work, special within our friendships. Most of us can identify with seeing the loud souls that demand for others to worship them, or the very least recognise their specialness. While our attention is there, it blocks us from seeing our own issues with specialness. We are all learning how specialness is acted out within our life: learning how it blocks other energies, and learning and noticing how much pain it brings when our expectations are not met around our specialness. We are all learning how we can give existence to our specialness. Learning how we are desiring, demanding or wishing for it, or flogging ourselves with work just so we can be acknowledged for it. All because of our unawareness to see that we can't claim it ourselves, because we can't feel it within ourselves... we can't believe that we can be special ourselves, so we go to the trouble of making everyone else responsible to show us our specialness, and then feeling the pain when it doesn't happen. Some give their whole life to it, leaving them in denial of other energies, like their gifts and talents, joy and happiness, or following their dreams, as their lives became dictated by their desire to be seen as special. It doesn't matter if you are the one demanding to be seen as special or if you are the person making another feel special (hoping by giving it to them that they will give it back in return). Understand that the situation is only there to be done differently, for us to choose differently. You and you are alone are responsible for your specialness. Only you can truly feel and know your specialness, feel and know your uniqueness, your brilliance. When we start to take responsibility for our own specialness within our day, we can check in with our breath, notice our relaxation, and start to hear ourselves talking to ourselves about our own specialness. Whatever takes place within your day, take your specialness with you. With a curiosity, be The Watcher of your day and notice what habits you carry around with you in regards to your specialness. What beliefs are there that hinder your specialness? Learn to celebrate your specialness from within and enjoy the moment with self. When specialness comes from within, our life changes, our energies shift, our vibration is lifted... and with our vibration lifted, we are able to be in charge of our direction, we can believe in our direction, and we can move towards it with calmness, relaxation and acceptance. With this New Moon energy, acknowledge your wishes and desires around your specialness and send them out into the Universe, as growth is here in this moment around it. It is time to claim your specialness as it is a part of your soul's journey. How is this moon affecting you? I'd love to know, feel free to leave a comment below. For my first blog post I thought I'd share a story about my pomegranate tree and how it has helped me live through the beauty of relaxation. It showed me that if there is one gift that we can gift ourselves, one gift we could cherish and value forever, one gift that would support us in all areas of our life... it would be the gift of relaxation.
There has always been pomegranate tree here at The Farm. When we first moved here all those years ago a young tree kept me fascinated as I didn't know much about them back then, with its unusual fruit. I found them challenging to eat at the start, but worth the effort as the pomegranate when fresh off the tree is very juicy and wonderfully sweet... I loved the feeling of placing a mouthful of seeds into my mouth, sucking all the juice off and getting that hit of utter sweetness. The best part is spitting out all the seeds in one go, great fun by myself or with friends where for a moment we could leave our manners behind and move into our childlike playfulness. In between each mouthful of bliss I would look at the fruits and be in awe of it's richness of colour, how it has created the pith to protect its individual seeds... pomegranate is a fruit that allows our innocence to be there, as discovering each fruit is like seeing it anew, as if seeing it for the first time. The very makeup of the pomegranate tree allows it to be very productive. Over the years seedlings have sprang up in all parts of the garden, and it becomes challenging for me to pull out any plant, but especially to pull out the pomegranate seedlings... I sometimes hear myself saying to them that their days are numbered but I also notice a year later they are still there getting bigger and stronger... I think I find it challenging to pull them out as I do love the pomegranate tree, I love everything about them, their fruit, the graciousness within the colour and shape of their leaves, their posture as they spread themselves out to create a canopy protecting and give shade to other plants who have found home at the pomegranate base. Pomegranates contribute and become part of any garden that they call home. I admire their ability to handle Perth's sometimes hash summer seasons where rain can be missing and is replaced with endless scorching days... I see them surrender to those hash seasonal moments and watch them move into acceptance which allows them to bounce back when the weather changes... as they continue to grow and see what the next season brings for them. Most of all, I love my memories of the pomegranate tree, remembering my earlier days of wanting more relaxation within my life, trying to sit in a room that turned out was not so much for me, so moving outside into the garden allowed me to become the watcher, and as I just watched the garden and all that visited the garden, it allowed me to discover a more genuine relaxation... my favourite place to watch the garden was where I could see the pomegranate tree, especially just before dusk, where the last of the sun rays would shine through and the oils of the trees would create a glistening and sparkle that would light up the garden. It is a truth that we can watch beauty all day, beauty is something that we never retreat ourselves from looking at and my the pomegranate tree has it all, everything about it has a beauty to it... especially when its fruits starts to develop, watching the fruit just hang down with no need for the tree to support it, the fruit just hangs there, allowed to sway in the breeze, content and relaxed... and when the tree is laden with fruit, watching them all move, watching them all grow with peace and calmness... and in one of those moments of watching, I feel the excitement, as I wanted to choose that reflection, where my growth comes with acceptance, peace and calmness, where I can see these vibrations each and every day within my life... and all these years later I'm still grateful for the lessons of the pomegranate tree helping me within my journey. |
